The UMCH ministry began in 1913 in Creal Springs and has been located in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, since 1921. What began as an orphanage has developed into a multifaceted social service agency providing an array of services to individuals, families, and our communities.
The United Methodist Children's Home strives for excellence in helping individuals, families, and communities grow through services provided in a safe nurturing environment of trust and open communication.
