Medicaid Billing Specialist ( Apply )
Organize track, and enter the collection of Medicaid data for United Methodist Children's Home. The Medicaid Billing Specialist (MBS) will also monitor the quality of service documentation submitted for billing purposes and provide training and feedback to staff to facilitate quality of written documentation submitted that meets Medicaid standards. Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field of study related to Mental Health, (preferred)
- Previous experience with Medicaid Billing preferred.
- Must meet Mental Health Specialist (MHP) level requirements
- Must have at least 2 years experience in an office environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Posses a variety of clerical/office skills (type, file, etc,)
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Possess the experience, personal qualities, and practice skills to work effectively with professionals from a variety of disciplines both internally and with other organizations.
- DCFS /CANTS Clearance,
- The ability to direct service in a manner that reflects appreciation for the cultural background, heritage, and identity of clients.
- Willingness to travel to other agency sites as needed.
Therapist ( Apply )
Therapists provide counseling services to adolescents within our Residential Treatment and Transitional Living programs and to ensure that their established goals are being addressed and documented. Position requires:
- Masters Degree required, specialization in Human Services field strongly preferred
Mental Health Specialist ( Apply )
MHS's provide direct supervision and treatment to emotionally disturbed youth in our Residential Treatment and Transitional Living programs. Position requires:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid Illinois Driver's License
Professional Foster Parent ( Apply )
Our Professional Foster Parents provide stabilized care to a child between the ages of 12-16 years old who has special needs, which may range from routine to highly complex. In addition to providing a safe, healthy and nurturing environment, the professional foster parent will meet the developmental and emotional needs of the child to include maintaining and promoting a healthy relationship with the child's biological parents. Our Professional Foster Parents receive a salary and benefits. Position requires:
- Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, some college desirable
- 5-7 years of proven, quality experience in social services preferred
- Current or previously licensed foster care providers preferred
All candidates must be 21 years of age, possess a valid Illinois Drivers license and pass all required background checks & drug screening.
