Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will you go to court and testify on my behalf?
A. Our therapists are here to provide assistance in healing and recovery; therefore, we do not attend court on behalf of our clients. Should the court request a report or should there be a need for our attendance, the judge or state's attorney will contact us.
Q: When counseling children, can parents sit in on sessions?
A: Parent involvement is extremely important in counseling children, and we want parents to take ownership of their child's care. Parents will be involved in initial sessions and the development of treatment plans. It is important to allow children to work one on one with the therapist in order to build rapport and trust. We work as a team with parent, child and family to ensure the best possible outcome for the child.
Q: Are the payments on a sliding scale?
A: No, but there may be ways to help with all or a portion of a session payment. Please call us for more information.
