Gifts to UMCH are accepted by the Foundation
The United Methodist Children’s Home Foundation was incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization on January 29, 1996. The sole purpose of this not-for-profit foundation is to support the ministry of the United Methodist Children’s Home. A Foundation Board composed of 12 directors monitors the finances of the Foundation including the Endowment Fund and assists with fundraising.
Contributions from individuals, groups, and churches are vital to lessen the dependence upon government sources. Since the Foundation’s formation, contributions to UMCH have ranged from 10% to 26% of the Home’s annual revenue, based on need.
