Centralia Friends Picnic
Despite the rainy day outside on June 15, the newly formed Centralia Friends group was recently able to host a wonderful picnic for families served by the Best Beginnings/Nurse Family Partnership program in Marion County. Instead of meeting at the park, the four families joined the Centralia Friends group for a fun lunch at First United Methodist Church in Centralia. Also there was Ann Ashby from the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles who gave each family a brand new car seat and a demonstration on how to safely install the seats.
