Impact at UMCH

Everyone gathered in the Chapel Complex on Sunday, March 15, was left impacted by an awesome night of praise and testimony.

Impact, a group of kids in grades 6th to 12th grade from Vandalia United Methodist Church, traveled to the Mt. Vernon UMCH campus and performed for the youth in the Residential program. Impact is comprised of about 30 Christian youth from Vandalia who travel all over sharing their faith with other people. Though the group meets at Vandalia UMC, it is really a mixture of kids of all denominations who have a talent for song, dance, and skits and who have a passion to share their love for Jesus.

The Residential youth clapped and sang along with familiar songs and watched as Impact evangelized with their personal testimonies. It was a moving night of praise and worship and the youth and staff are very grateful that the kids from Impact came and shared with them.

United Methodist Children’s Home welcomes groups like Impact and any other youth groups or entertainment groups interested in sharing at the Children’s Home.
