United Way Agency of the Year
United Methodist Children's Home is the United Way 2009 Agency of the Year!
At the United Way Celebration dinner, UMCH was recognized as the 2009 Agency of the Year! Over the past year UMCH held our own very successful United Way workplace campaign and our employees increased their giving by more than 10%. During the presentation it was mentioned that UMCH supports the United Way and always sends employees to help with every United Way function whenever asked.
In order to get this award, Rhonda McCowen of the United Way says, “They must run a successful employee workplace campaign and participate in all the activities that the UW holds throughout the year. It’s mainly about being supportive of our work and the working relationship that we have with the agency. UMCH is one of our best.”
