YouthBuild Graduation 2008-2009
Congratulations, YouthBuild Graduates!
Graduation was held on May 11, 2009 for YouthBuild at United Methodist Children's Home. This marks the third year for YouthBuild of Jefferson County and the second year for YouthBuild of Marion County. This program focuses on providing academic training, job skill development, leadership development & community service. Youth enrolled spend two days a week studying for their GED, two days a week working on construction, and one day giving back to the community through service.
The Golden Hammer award went to two youth who were recognized for their work ethic and outstanding construction skills. Congratulations to Andrew Smith, from the Jefferson County YouthBuild, and Nathan Kozuszek, from the Marion County YouthBuild!
